Public, Private and Non-Profit Events

Located five minutes west of downtown, Strange Craft Beer Company is beneath 1-25 and nestled between 13th and Zuni Streets. We offer a playful experience in a space with a lot of character for each event. When we are finished brewing our main stay and experimental brews, we open our space for public, private and nonprofit fundraising events.

Strange Craft Tap Room includes:
  • 700 square feet to plan your celebration
  • Capacity of 52
  • Seating up to 52
  • Two flat screen TVs for watching a game, showing a slideshow, or streaming live video and photos
  • Speakers with access for plugin options
Strange Craft Biergarten includes:
  • 2,500 square feet to plan your celebration
  • Holds a capacity of 100’s
  • Seating for up to 100
Peak Time – Thursday through Saturday

$300/hour with a 2 hour minimum (4 hours for entire space). $450 during closed times. Day and time may alter the fee.

This is the time that you want your guests to start arriving when you plan for them to leave. If it goes over this time, the additional prorated amount will be charged, and most likely be deducted from your deposit.

Non-Peak – Sunday through Wednesday

$250/hour with a 2 hour minimum (4 hours for entire space). $450 during closed times. Day and time may alter the fee.

We are happy to offer a 20% discount to all nonprofit organizations on non-peak days. We also offer discounts for multiple day or multiple use bookings.

Event Day Set up/Breakdown time ($150 flat fee) – One Hour Total

Up to a half hour is included for deliveries and pick ups, whether it be linen rentals, flowers, baked goods or other additional items. We give you access to the space for decorating, caterer/vendor set up, photographer setup, as well as rental/item pick ups after the event. (There is no discount if you don’t want to take us up on the additional time.)

Up to a half hour is included for clean up the event area, move chairs/tables back in place, clean up glassware. All additional event items you brought into the event space are your responsibility to pick up after event and taken with you.

Food and Beverage

You may ONLY imbibe in our Strange Craft beers and have it served by one of our bartenders. We also have home-made root beer.

Food Trucks

Strange Craft has a different food truck scheduled every day. With advanced notice, we may be able to schedule a food truck of your choice. Then, you can plan the party menu with this preferred vendor. Preferred list of vendors provided after scheduling an event.

Parking
  • Capacity of 8 before 5pm on week days and 45-50 after 5 pm and weekends.
  • 8 parking spots available in the back.
We can also assist you with:
  • Entertainment – hiring a live band (list of bands and video samples) or a specific live setup with a Pandora channel.
  • In-house Graphic Designer – Create evite, eblast, printed invitations and posters.
Payment

Cash, check and credit card accepted. (All payments made to Strange Craft Beer Company). We require a 50% deposit with signed agreement to secure your date. The total amount, in addition to the deposit, is due 30 DAYS prior to the event. The deposit secures your date and is also a damage deposit. Overages also come from the deposit. Otherwise the $XXX is returned within 14 days after your event.

Cancellation
  • For cancellations received 60 days or more prior to the event, Strange Craft will retain a $100 administration fee and refund the rest of the deposit.
  • Cancellations received 30-59 days prior to the date of the event will be subject to 25% of the total rental fee plus the $250 security deposit paid with the rental application.
  • If a cancellation is received less than 30 days prior to the event, Strange Craft will retain 100% of all fees and deposits paid by the lessee, plus any unpaid balance due as of that date.
  • Cancellations made for any reason, including weather, less than 30 days prior to the rental date, will be responsible for the full balance of the rental fee.
  • Outdoor Rentals: Rental fees may be transferred to the indoor area, provided no other party has rented the space. Lessee will be responsible for the additional fees, at current market value. If the inside is in use, lessee has the option to reschedule their rental within 90 days of original event date. Once set-up has begun in an outdoor rental area lessee is responsible for the full balance of the rental fee.
Termination
  • Lessee understands event use may be terminated if rules are violated. The decision to terminate use is solely at the discretion of an authorized Strange Craft representative.
  • Lessee understands the violation of the rules of use during an event may result in full or partial loss of the damage deposit. If violations are serious or illegal in nature, lessee and attendees may be asked to leave the property and forfeit all deposits.
  • In the event use is terminated, lessee maintains responsibility for the payment of the space in full and all other fees due.
Injuries or Losses
  • It is understood Strange Craft, the City and County of Denver, and the City of Denver are not responsible for any injuries or losses sustained to any person or the property of any member of the lessee’s group. The lessee will hold harmless the aforementioned entities for any such loss or liability.
